Greetings! from Steve Benya, a man who was blessed in many ways.

It all started 56 years ago when I married the love of my life, Rita Jean Zema. Together we brought six beautiful girls into this world. I guess many would say I was best known as the A. Merry Dealer in Barberton. I put all the girls to work at the dealership, at one time or another. I hope I have taught them all, by example, to be fair, honest, trustworthy, compassionate and an advocate for the "underdog". My devotion to God has been lived as a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.

I am preceded in death by parents, grand-daughter Katie Seay and sister-in-law, Sachiko Benya.

I leave behind in God's loving care, my wife Rita; daughters, Mary Katherine, Sue and Chuck Negron, Jean and Bill Seay, Karen and Joe Miller, Linda and Jeff Strobel, Amy Schooler; eight grandchildren, Benjamin and Sandy Warner, Joe and Amber Warner, John and Amanda Warner, Shaun Negron, Sarah Seay, Grace and Laine Strobel, Crockett Schooler; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews from my brothers and sister, David Benya, Dick Skerl and Mike and Chris Benya.

Rosary 8:30 a.m., followed by calling hours, until time of Divine Liturgy Monday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1051 E. Robinson Ave., Fr. Alan Kapron officiating.
