By all accounts from many friends and family, Mae was the sweetest lady who ever lived! When she came to Texas about 1933, she entered Nurses Training at the P&S Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She met and married Clyde E. Chapman in 1935. Mr. Chapman was an automobile dealer on Broadway Street in San Antonio. Mae is survived by her children and their spouses , as well as four grandchildren and their spouses. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. Mae was a charter member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
