Kenneth D. Allen, age 80, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday November 14, 2007 at his residence.

Kenneth Allen was born on July 30, 1927 to Daniel and Effie Bean Allen, who preceded him in death. He was married to Beulah Mae Brawner who preceded him in death on July 22, 2001. He married the former Delvinia Likens on February 28, 2003, who survives. Besides his parents and previous wife, one infant daughter, one step-son, Jimmy Bandy, brother, Aaron Allen, sisters, Leia Armstrong, and Ezma Allen also preceded him in death. He was a retired carpenter, employed by Whittemore Roofing in Lafayette. His passion was playing his Banjo; He was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer.

Besides his wife of four and half years, he is survived by; sons, Lonnie, Randall, Ray, Roger, and Dewone Allen, daughter, Stella Stacy, step-sons, Roger and Jack Whittemore, Freddy, Billy, Ricky, Steven, and Rocky Bandy, step-daughters, Vexey Bandy, Judy Whitley, Judy Whittemore, Cathy Sarabia, Shirley Tomison, and Rosetta Brewer, brothers, James, Olen, Gene, Roy, and Harold Allen, sister, Joyce Jones, step-brothers, Daniel and Bobby Allen, step-sisters, Elaine, Ellen Faye, Anita, Nellrine, and Lou Allen, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Joseph Allen, Daniel Allen, Daniel Allen, Charles Allen, Anthony Whittemore, Johnathan Whittemore Jacky Hauskins, and Chad Hauskins served as Pallbearers.

Interment was in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
