Avelyn Williams, 86, southwest Kansas City, died Sept. 28, 1990, at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, and lived in Kansas City for 36 years. Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Kansas City and the Saddle & Sirloin Club. Her husband, Herston Williams, who had owned Forest Hill and Calvary cemeteries, died in 1969. Survivors include a niece, Diana Danford, San Antonio. Interment services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Abbey Mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery.
