A native of the Bondville section of Mercer County, Mr. Cunningham was a retired farmer. He was born May 22, 1887 and was the widower of Lillie Cunningham. He was the son of the late Dan and Sarah Belle Gritton Cunningham and a life long member of the Salvisa Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son, Edwin Bunton Cunningham of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. James Campbell of Richmond, Va. ; and Mrs. J. Donald Cosby and Mrs. Darren C. Ryan of Louisville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
