Floyd T. JONES, 80, of Morris, Illinois, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Joliet. Mr. JONES was born a son of Andrew and Ella [ROBINSON] JONES. He married Cleo C. WRIGHT on the 01 October 1944 at Shreveport, Louisiana. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Lois VANMETER of Cantrall, Illinois and Bonnie J HUTTON of Miami Florida; one granddaughter; two great- grandchildren; four sisters, Leola HUTTON, Laura MEIER, and Marie SHOOP, all of Pontiac, and Elnora HOGGINS of Graymont, and one brother, Aurbon JONES of Pontiac. One daughter and three brothers preceded him in death. Mr. JONES was educated in Rowe and Rooks Creek schools. He serves in the U S Army Signal Corps from 1942 through 1946, stationed in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. He and his wife farmed in Pontiac, Verona, and Morris, Illinois for more than 20 years. Humiston-Keeling Pharmaceutical Company employed him for 12 years, and he retired in 1978.
