Campbell Township
The remains of Mr. Wm. Phillips were interred at the Brush Creek grave yard last Sunday. He was kicked by a horse while engaged in plowing on Thursday afternoon, both hind feet of the horse struck him in the region of the stomach, causing injuries which terminated in death on Saturday morning following. The funeral discourse was delivered by Eld. Mendall, of the M. E. Church, at the Brush Creek Baptist Church. Deceased was about 22 years of age, had been married about two years, and leaves a wife and one child to mourn his loss.
