Dorothy (Wargo) Alderson, 85, of Chicago, formerly of Streator, died March 23, 2003 in Chicago.
Visitation was 3-9 p.m. March 26 at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels in Roselle. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held in Streator at a later date.
She was born July 4, 1917 in Streator, a daughter of Michael and Catherine (Lakatos) Wargo.
Surviving are a son: Lee Alderson of Chicago; a daughter: Loretta Guida of Chicago; seven grandchildren; a brother: Ronald Wargo of Streator; sisters: Caroline Schook of Streator and Rita (Dick) Sangston of Mesa, Arizona.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son: Francis Scott Alderson at birth; brothers: James, Virgil and Michael Jr.; and a sister: Marie Lewis who died March 24, 2003.
She was of the Catholic faith.
