He was a student at Sissonville Middle School and was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Eugene Allen Turner.

Neel and his wife Joyce Neel of Wilson, NC; maternal grandparents; Bobby and Sarah Bennett of Madison, paternal grandmother, Connie Turner of Charleston; paternal grandfather; Bobby and his wife Helen Neel of FL.; godfather, Allen Neel of Sissonville; sister, Amber Dawn Neel of Quinland; stepsister, Amanda Fellers of Wilson, NC; and stepbrother, Tyler Mitchell of Wilson NC.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.
