Velma McGinnis
Graveside services for Velma McGinnis, 89, of Mountain Home, Ark.,
were held Tuesday, May 17 at Mammoth Cemetery with Halbert Smith
officiating.
Mrs. McGinnis died May 16, 2005, at Auburn Hills Health and Rehab
in Mountain Home, Ark. She was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Mammoth, the
daughter of William Wesley and Hattie (Totten) Anderson. She married
Euel D. McGinnis May 25, 1941, at Howards Ridge.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Mrs. McGinnis is survived by two daughters, Sue Ward of Marion,
N.C., and Joan Stone of Clarkridge, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Euel; her parents; one
son, William McGinnis; one grandson, Shane McGinnis; and three sisters,
Elsa, Elsie, and Thelma McGinnis.
Pallbearers were Eugene Strong, Mike Stone, Roland Stone, James
Stone and Jay Hoskins.
