Robert was the son of Vernon Carman and Virginia Mae Anderson,
born June 21, 1947 in Thurman, Iowa.

Robert graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School 1967.
He served in the US Army from August 1967 to Aug 1970. He then transferred to the United States Army Reserves retiring with 20 years of service. He worked in the Assembly area at Molex in Lincoln, Nebraska.
In June of 1974 he married Claudette, they had one son, they later divorced.
Robert received a Quilt of Valor in July 2021 honoring him for his many years of service with the US Army.
He is survived by his son Joshua, sisters Esther, Dottie, & Lois. Brothers: John , Dan and Walter, nieces and nephews and many cousins.
No services at Roberts request. Cremated ashes to be buried at the Omaha National Cemetery in Sarpy County, Nebraska.
