WATERMAN, Frances S.

Of Hingham, formerly of Yarmouthport, North Andover and Newton, MA passed away peacefully at her home on September 15, 2021 at the age of 97. Sharp as a tack to the end, Frances loved her card games with friends, crafts, crosswords, Red Sox and Patriots. All of her children and grandchildren received sweaters knit with love from Grandma Fran. Trained as a graphic artist she worked as a technical illustrator for Raytheon Corp. before starting a family. She devoted her life to the care, well-being and happiness of her beloved husband, the late Sherman Waterman and her sons, the late Mark L. Waterman (Maurene) of Houston and Arthur S. Waterman (Marcia) of New Orleans, grandchildren Wendy, Daniel, Anna, Sara Jane, and great grandchildren.

The family is grateful for the hospice care she received. As requested, a private graveside service for family and friends will be held through Levine Chapels of Brookline. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Norwell Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA 02061.
