Born November 26, 1944 in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Walter Fitzpatrick and Bessie Powers Fitzpatrick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ada (Bentley) Fitzpatrick in 2012.
Walter is survived by one son, Christopher and Maria Fitzpatrick of Banner, Kentucky; three daughters, Tabitha and Steve Borkholder of Nappannee, Indiana, Marion and Jerry Beverly of East Point, Kentucky and Marica and Bradford Kidd also of East Point, Kentucky; four brothers, David, Roger, John and Charlie Fitzpatrick; two sisters, Diana Webb and Stella June Bentley; nine grandchildren five great grandchildren and expecting another.
There will be no public visitation or funeral at this time. The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
