Obituary:
Mrs. Marjorie S. Balch, 49, of 325 E. Maine Rd., died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday at the Ideal-Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Balch, Johnson City; three sons, Dwight Jacobsen, Grand Rapids, Mich, David Jacobsen, Ithaca, Eric Jacobsen, Phoenix, Ariz.; her parents, Jay and Clara Stickle, Sr., Johnson City; her brother, Jay Sickle, Jr., Auburn, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, and a member of the choir, and the Vestry of the Church. She was a graduate of Keuka College, and received her masters degree at Marywood College. She was an employee of the Family and Children's Society of Broome County.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church. The Rev. H. Arthur Doersam, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Common Room of the Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Trinity Memorial All Saints Fund. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City.
