In 1952 she started preforming at the Romen Theater in Moscow a musical and drama theater where she preformed in over 50 roles . Her first part was in a play titled "Stubborn Hearts". Because of her performance she was nominated for the Stalin Prize which is for an outstanding artist of the Romen Theater. She was also a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School. Beginning in 1957 she took part in 8 films with the most notable one being her first, "Don Quixote". Her awards and titles for her work included the Order of Honor (2019), the Order of Friendship (2002), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1988), the Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1982) and the Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR (1960). She was married and together they had 3 children.
