Wayne VILVEN, 78, Pontiac, died at St. James Hospital, following a long illness. Mr. VILVEN was born a son of Ernest and Nannie E. [SMITH] VILVEN. He married Ruth Darlene ROBINSON on the 23rd of November 1939 at Keokuk, Iowa. He had farmed for many years and was a maintenance worker at the National Guard Armory in Pontiac for 11 years. He also was 34-year member of The Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife; one daughter Mary Ann HOGGINS of Pontiac; one sister, Vera LEDFORD of Pontiac; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
