Dr. Milton Corsey was the eldest son of the late William & Nancy Corsey, born in Woodbury, NJ, on June 2, 1934. Milton began his education in Park Avenue School and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1952. After graduation Milton attended Lincoln University in Oxford, PA, where he earned a degree in Chemistry in 1956. Milton graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1961, fulfilling his dream of becoming a physician. He continued his medical education completing his internship and surgical residence at Lancaster Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, PA. Upon completion of his formal medical training he returned to New Jersey to join the surgical staff at the newly formed JFK Memorial Hospital in Stratford in 1965. He also began a family practice in Penns Grove, NJ, during the same year, he provided much needed medical services until his health began to fail one year ago. Milton was a member of the North Baptist Church in Woodbury, NJ, and an active member of the community.
He is predeceased by his wife, Alice Darnell King.
