Perry A. Pressley went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2007. Born on September 19, 1931, he served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War and lived in El Paso for 48 years. As a devoted Husband and Father, he worked as an accountant at Bock & Associates in El Paso and a member of Eastwood Church of Christ. He was a member of the Del Norte Lions Club, where he served in local and district officer levels at various times. He volunteered at the Lions Summer Camp for Crippled Children and was one of the founders of the West Texas Lions Eye Bank. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen A. and Bonnie Pressley. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, JoAnn, sons; Shaun Pressley and his wife, Amy, and Kevin Hubby and his wife, Wendy, grandchildren; Bethany Berkseth and husband Ryan, Sherry Hubby, Kimberly Hubby, Tyler Pressley and Kyle Pressley, all of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his brothers, James Pressley, wife Linda, Neal Pressley and wife Emily, of Pennsylvania, and sisters, Ennis Kelly, husband Lane, of Virginia, and Christy Robertson, husband Larry, of Texas, cousin Roselyn Shaw, El Paso, and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at San Jose Funeral Home (East) from 4pm to 9pm. Minister Charles Clodfelter will be officiating services. Graveside service will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, November 29, 2007, at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Christian Schools of El Paso contact (915) 593-5011, or to the El Paso Community Foundation for the restoration of the Plaza Theatre.
