JANESVILLE---Patrick D. Roehl, age 41, of Janesville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Janesville on Oct. 29, 1966, the son of Bernhard and Marilyn (Oakley) Roehl and had been a Janesville resident his entire life. He married Shannon Sandvig in Janesville in 1991. Patrick was formerly employed by General Motors and United Alloy, but most recently was an owner and partner in RS Timber, Janesville. Patrick loved to fish, hunt, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his 2 children, Cassandra Lindsay Roehl and Cody Bernhard Roehl, step-daughter, Candice (Andrew) Coogan and their mother, Shannon Roehl-Wickingson; his father, Bernhard "Bernie" Roehl of Janesville; 3 sisters: Deborah (Gary) Hilt of Janesville, Nancy (Steven) Larson of Colchester, CT, and Janie (Daniel) Sullivan of Janesville; a brother, Mike (Christine) Roehl of Janesville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
