F. G. Parker's Death
Geo. R. Parker received the sad intelligence this morning of the death of his son, Frank G. Parker, in Los Angeles on Friday, December 28. Deceased was well known in Prescott, having resided here for over twenty years, and no man was held in higher esteem than he.
He had been an invalid for twenty five years, but only for the past two or three years has been incapacitated for work. He moved into Los Angeles a few years ago where he has resided, with his family, ever since. His health remained apparently about the same as it was in Prescott until a few weeks ago when a sort of tumor appeared on his breast. This broke last Sunday and since that time he failed gradually until his death occurred yesterday morning as stated.
Deceased was a native of Ohio, born December 7, 1850, hence was just a few days past fifty at death. A wife and seven sisters survive him in Los Angeles, besides his father, who resides in Prescott. He was an active and prominent Mason.
