Donald E. "Frog" Michael, age 60, of Mound City, Kansas died Friday November 16, 2007 at Mercy Health System in Ft Scott, Kansas.

He was born on September 11, 1947 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Carl E. and Mildred E. Cowan Michael. His most recent employment was with the Sugar Valley Nursing Home and later Prescott Country View. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Dixie Allen. He is survived by two brothers, Mike Michael of Sedalia, Missouri and David Michael of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, four sisters, Eunice Elliott and Carly Alexander both of Mound City, Eloise Steege of Ganada, Texas and Jodie Britton of Ingleside, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.



Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday at the Curry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 PM until service at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Mound City, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the Cornerstone Church in care of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home. On line condolences can be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
