After her honorable discharge she worked for the United States Postal Service. In later years she became an avid runner and won multiple 5K and 10K races in her age group. Living close to nature and supporting veganism and animal rights were dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by one still born child, Anthony Ray Jones in 1974,
by her mother in 1983 and father in 2001.
She is survived by her sisters Robin Rider and husband Michael of Mansfield,Ohio, Randi Meentzen and husband Carl of Los Angeles, California, Roxanne Bowles of Ashland and one brother Robert H. Bowles ll and wife Melodie of Ashland,Ohio. She adored her many nieces & nephews Jesse, Jarrod & Joshua Rider, Blake, Brandon & Broch Bowles, Cassandra Meentzen, Amy , James, Robert and Mandy Bowles and her many grand nieces and nephews.
Rebecca went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2012 after a brief illness.
