She was born October 20, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank Jacob Nauber and Laura Werner Nauber.
She moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1945 after marrying her husband Harvey Henderson Huddleston, Jr. who passed away in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Anne Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, and the Senior Travel Group. She was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fan and loved music, especially playing the piano. She regularly entertained her family and friends and fellow Ave Maria residents with the music she loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, her parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children: Lynne Owens (Jack), Olive Branch, Mississippi, Nancy Brimm (Jimmy), Germantown, Tennessee, Lauralee Tague and Richard Huddleston (Sarah), Memphis, Harvey Huddleston, III, New York City, and John Huddleston (Arlene), Savannah, Tennessee. She also leaves 8 grandchildren: Jimmy Brimm, Jr., Laurie Argo, Stephen Brimm, Molly Rose, Joseph Tague, Brian Tague, Amber Huddleston, and Amanda Armistead, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Cottage for her care and especially Amber Brown who took such loving care of her.
Visitation will be Monday, September 13 beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral mass at 1:00 PM, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 706 South Highland, Memphis. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
