Mrs. Beverly Ann Andrews, age 70 of Anderson, Missouri, was called to heaven on Friday ~ November 30, 2007 ~ at the Freeman Hospital East, Joplin, Missouri, following a short illness.
Beverly began her journey on September 8, 1937 in Anderson, Missouri, one of two children born to the late John J. and Alta L. (Sloan) Burnett. She married the love of her life Andy Andrews in June of 1955 in Noel, Missouri and to this union one son was born. Together Beverly and Andy owned and operated Indian Creek Trading Post in Anderson, Missouri. Beverly loved taking care of her many animals ~ always taking in strays, she had a very caring and generous nature. Beverly enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son John Michael Andrews on November 4, 1979.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 52 years ~ Andy Andrews of the home, one sister ~ Betty Quiggs of Joplin, Missouri; six brothers-in-law, Curtis Andrews, Billy Andrews, Lee Andrews, Ronald Andrews, Gene Andrews and Tommy Andrews all of Kissimmee, Florida; along with many other relatives, friends and neighbors who will dearly miss Beverly and her beautiful smile.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Ann Andrews will be held on Monday ~ December 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker-Dowd Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Missouri ~ Reverend Derald Compton will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri.
