Carolyn Marie Aguirre, a resident of Dothan passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Westside Terrace. She was 67 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Aguirre was born August 4, 1951 in Kansas City, MO and lived the early part of her life in Poplar Bluff, MO where she graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1969. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist for several years prior to her retirement in 2009. She has resided in Dothan since 2004 and enjoyed reading novels, watching TV series, and talking to her sisters on the phone.

Survivors include her husband, [name omitted]; children, [names omitted]; step-daughter, [name omitted]; 5 grandchildren; siblings, [names omitted]; several nieces and nephews.
