Jerry, 65, of Caro, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. Jerry was the son of the late George E. and Beula K. (Schneider) Allison, and graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1973.

Jerry loved to farm and spent over twenty years with R & R Farms in Fairgrove prior to his retirement. His life was centered around his family, and he cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and brother. Jerry had a unique ability to make people feel loved and understood, even those he met for the first time. He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, fishing, and cheering on Detroit sports teams.

Left to cherish Jerry's memory are two daughters, Rachael Rood and her husband, Jason, of Otisville, Ashley Allison of Owosso; two grandchildren, Eleanor and Lennon Rood; and brother, Loren F. Allison of Caro.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one brother, Robert G. Allison in 2011.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. Burial will follow the service at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.

Jerry's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday until the time of the service.
