Mr. Fulton Howard, a well known citizen of the county, died at Waxhaw last Saturday afternoon. He was sixty-two years of age and a Confederate soldier, having been a member of Company C, 11th batallion, artillery. Mr. Howard is survived by his wife and several children. An old comrade said of the deceased yesterday that he was generous hearted and had no use for anything mean in anybody. The body was buried at the old Union graveyard, in Sandy Ridge township.
