"Charles C. Ahl, 69, of Redding died in a Redding hospital Thursday morning. Born in Indiana on Jan. 21, 1894, he had been a resident of Redding for the past 10 years.

Ahl leaves his widow, Mrs. Ethel Ahl of Redding; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Knight of Medford, Ore., and Mrs. Pauline Domaca, Silverton, Ore.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Gladys Moak and Mrs. Florence Anderson of Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Ruth Bonta of Redding and Mrs. Martha Willard of Central Point, Ore.

Three sons, Phillip Ahl of Klamath Falls, Ore., Richard Ahl of McCloud and Eugene Ahl of Kentucky; a stepson, Ivan McCollum of Redding; a brother, Kenneth Ahl of Bozeman, Mont.; 33 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be a McDonald's Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Virgil Hutcheson will officiate. Burial will be in the Redding Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, in care of Mrs. Charles Castor, Box 760, Redding."
