Came to the US through Boston, later moved to Brooklyn where he met and married Antonetta Casaregola. Together they Founded and ran Caserta Pastry Shop in Brooklyn, New York. The raised seven children three of whom continued the family business by opening Pastry shops in Connecticut and Long Island.
