Private family services for Olive Elizabeth Barber, 83, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, in Coos Bay, will be Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. in the Coos Bay Chapel of Campbell-Watkins Funeral Homes with the Rev. Richard Cochran of the North Bend Presbyterian Church officiating. Cremation will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Crematorium.
She was born June 15, 1889, in Topeka, Kans., and taught in Coos County schools for many years. She was a member of the Coos Bay Soroptimist Club.
Mrs. Barber is survived by her sons, M. S. "Max" Barber of Coos Bay, and Donald Barber of Kent, Wash.; sister, Mary Alice Johnson of Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
