Iota, La. - Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata for M.Z. Miller, 80, who died at Moosa Memorial Hospital Thursday. Burial will be in the chuch mausoleum, Mowata Cemetery,
A rosary will be recited tonight at 7 p.m. at Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota with Fr. George Heffner. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. tonight and at 8 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
Mr. Miller was a retiree of Continental Oil Co. and a World War II veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lou Alice Bertrand Miller of Mowata; three daughters, Cheryl Miller Janise of Lake Charles, Suzanne Miller Menou of Sulphur and Sheila Miller McManus of Lafayette; one son, Terry Miller of Haughton; one sister, Lola Belle Miller Foret of Iota; one brother, Leven Miller of Texarkana, Texas, nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
