She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Lewis and Thelma Brady of Hope Hull, Alabama, her fraternal grandparents George and Maybelle Harris of Montgomery, Alabama, and her father James Byron Harris of Montgomery, Alabama.
Janet is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce David Thiex of Pintlala, Alabama, son, Scott Eric Dean of San Francisco, California, daughter, Holly Vanessa Dean (Kristian Garrett Livas) of Tucson, Arizona, grandchildren, Abner Dylan Livas and Sadie Anne Livas of Tucson, Arizona, sister, Joyce Daisy Barnes (Jerry Barnes) and mother, Daisy Anne Brady of Hope Hull, Alabama.
