Linda Joyce Bryant, age 79 of Alvin, Texas passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence. Linda was born May 29, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee where she lived all of her life before recently moving to Alvin to be closer to her daughter. She worked as a bus driver for a number of years as well as spending time at home taking care of her family. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Bryd and Lula Williams; sisters, Elnora Hall, Ola Belle Shaw, Dorothy Anderson, Mattie Diviney and Lorine Bryant; brothers, James Williams and Thomas Williams.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Archie Bryant; daughters, Nina Howell, Marsha Loftis, Rebecca Felts and husband Robert, Diane Holloway and husband Michael; son, Christopher Bryant; sister, Norine Inman; grandchildren, Heather Viseur and husband Andre, Stephanie Lane and husband Alan, Shane Loftis, Rachel Loftis, Morgan Loftis, Thea Bryant and husband Joseph, Eryn Lewis and husband Zachary, Sara Young and husband Brantley, Ryan Sumonka and wife Elizabeth, Kathryn Collier and husband Justin, Paul Matthew Holloway and wife Ashton, Ashley Holloway, Brandy Mertens, Sammantha Howell, Bryan Felts, Ryan Felts, Jessica Felts, Jasmine Felts and Jamie Felts; great grandchildren, Hayden, Hannah, Avery and Brian Viseur; Thomas Bryant; Gavyn, Michael Bowdy and Jaxon Lewis; Emily, Elizabeth and Edward Young; Eli Mertens and Chelsie Tapscott; great grandchildren, Olivia Kate and Amelia Grace; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Linda's wishes were to be cremated with a private family service.

The one who tried so hard to teach me ...

not to worry about what others thought of me

Or that " rough around the edges is way better than a fake prim and proper"

Or that creating things for others with a giving heart is very special

Or that husbands are not always right- (that one is funny!!!)

Or that I wouldn't always be the best mom and that is ok, move past mistakes, cuss a little!!!

I love her so much!!! She loved me more!!
