Records, including both marriage and obituary states Charles' father is "George Brawley" and mother is "Mary (aka Mabel) I. McCarthy". There is much confusion with father. Edit requests including Carl Porter as his father but I cannot find any links or records to clearly indicate this to be true as of yet. His mother, however, is listed in RB Hayes Obit and I attached her obit to her memorial. HIs mother married Foster Lightfoot in 1891;
