Cecelia Janice Barrett was born May 7, 1948, in Yakima, Washington, the second child of Lorne & Margaret (nee Radford) Barrett. In 1955, the family of five moved to the Firwood area, near Goldendale. Cecelia graduated from Goldendale High school in 1965.
Cecelia was a good, old-fashioned short order cook. She worked in and around Vancouver, Washington as well as Somerville, Texas. She was a huge fan of murder mysteries and forensic investigation TV. She was a "the book was better than the movie" reader - anything from Louis L'Amour to Stephen King.
Cecelia worked hard to raise her four boys, David, Mark, Micheal and Travis. It wasn't easy, but she did it.
After a battle with multiple medical issues, she is finally at peace. Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service.
