FITCHBURG - Gladys A. (Pike) Emery Hullette, 80, of 350 Water St., died Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Birchwood Care Center after a long illness. She was born in Brattleboro, Vt. May 20, 1926, the daughter of Warren M. and Bessie W. (Quinn) Pike.
Gladys leaves her husband of 28 years, Albert E. Hullette; five daughters, Marie Chamberlain and her husband, Ed, of Hancock, N.H., Sandra Hickey of Fitchburg, Elizabeth McAlpine of Clearwater, Fla., Sheila Emery and Linda Heaps, both of Fitchburg; three sons, Thomas Emery, of Largo, Fla., Steven Emery and his wife, Esther, and David Emery, all of Fitchburg; one sister, Doris Maroni of Cape Coral, Fla.; 32 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Her first husband, Alfred Emery, died Nov. 20, 1972. She loved playing bingo and listening to music, especially country music.

HULLETTE - A funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 25, at 11:30 a.m. in the Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St. Rev. Edward R. Neuhaus will officiate. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
