A funeral service was conducted Monday, January 9 at the Valley Mortuary Chapel, Lake Isabella for Martin J. Hauser of Lawndale. Officiating was Rev. David Snow, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella. Mr Hauser passed away January 4 at the Memorial Hospital of Greater Bakersfield. He is survived by his sons Melvin of Wofford Heights, George of Norco, Vern of Lawndale; twin sister Myrtle Marie Hendrickson of Idaho; six grandchildren and seven great grandchldren.
Martin J Hauser had been a resident of the Kern Valley for more than 19 years and is preceded in death by his wife Grace, deceased in 1982. Born in Twin Bridges, Madison County Montana, Martin Jennings Hauser was 93 years old. Interment at Kern Valley Cemetery.
