Theresa Catherine Lanham, age 33, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Theresa was born August 18, 1988.
Theresa was born in Brandon, FL and grew up in the Lakeland area. She graduated from Lake Gibson High in 2006. She worked with the payment recovery team at Geico Insurance Co. She was beyond excited to finally become a mother, giving birth to her son, Jody Gleason, in May. Although Jody was her only biological child, she also loved and cared for Aubrey and Brendal Gleason as if they were her own. Theresa was an animal lover to the extreme. Joined in death with Justice Gleason, infant son Jody Dex Gleason and Mother Catherine Toney Delgado. Survived by Father Paul Lanham, sister Christine "Chrissy" Lanham (Jennie Schmelzer), half-brother Jarrod Lanham, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. in Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Virginia, and West Virginia. Preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Mary Catherine Toney and Harry P Toney; Paternal grandparents Christopher Lanham and Hattie Lanham
A celebration of life for Theresa will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wells Memorial and Event Center, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, FL 33563, followed by a gathering of family & friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
