WYNNYK, Olga
With heavy hearts, the family of Olga Wynnyk (nee Zuk) announce her peaceful passing on September 11, 2021 at the age of 90 years with her daughter at her side. Olga endured a long and tireless journey with Alzheimer's and her family is comforted that she can now finally rest. Olga's life is celebrated by five children; eleven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Olga is also survived by her sister Adeline, and will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Olga was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry; son, Robert (Bob); daughter-in-law, Cynthia; grandchildren, Chad and Cindy; her parents, Alex and Mary Zuk; sisters Anne, Katie and Lillian, and brothers Dimytro and John. Mom's life was always full. Her love extended to all that she crossed paths with. She was a friend to all and always had time to lend a helping hand. She was a fabulous cook who loved to entertain family and friends. She loved all her grandchildren and rarely, if ever, did Baba and Gigi miss an opportunity to visit, go to a concert or sports event they were in. She loved gardening, reading and sewing and was without doubt, one of the hardest workers that anyone knew. In lieu of tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Alberta or a charity of one's choice.
