Jeffrey Lee Russell, 58, was called home to The Lord on September 6, at Union Hospital Terre Haute.

Born in Clinton on August 12, 1963, he was the son of Charles L. "Chuck" and Carol (Adams) Russell. He was employed at Union Hospital Clinton for over 30 years, where he served as Patient Representative, Chaplain Coordinator and was president of the Guild.

Jeff held a love for preaching and singing at Clinton's nursing homes, eating popsicles with his grandkids, studying genealogy, and working in the yard – even helping friends in their yard.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Kacey Moreland, his sister Melea, his brother Mark "Redbeard," and his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherri; his brothers Brian (Vikkie) and Brad (Colletta), his sister Mindy (Tony); his children Joshua, Jerrad (Jennifer), Sarah (Jeff), Katherine, and Olivia (Ryan); his bonus children Darin, Brittani, Mariah (Josh), Jamaica, and Christopher; several nieces and nephews; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

The celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 12 at 7:00PM at Frist Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Jeffers officiating. The visitation will be held from 3:00PM to the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Shirley Cemetery in Universal, Indiana.
