Harley B. Ayers, 78, of Ewing, VA, passes away on Monday, September 20, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Julie Ayers; his loving wife, Eva Ayers; brothers, Bobby Ayers and J.D. Ayers; sisters, Retha Day, Bertha Cottrell and Hazel Cheek, and a grandchild, Cookie Ayers.

Harley is survived by his five children, Debbie (Teddy) Overton, Geneva (Richard) Knutson, Julia (Keith) Cunningham, Jimmy (Sharon) Ayers, Jerry (Lorene) Ayers; sister, Loraine Ayers; grandchildren, Teddy Overton, Amy (Edward) Anglin, Brandon (Kendra) Overton, Timmy Grove, Harley (Jonathan ) Jones, Richard Knutson, Allen Knutson, Michael (Brittany) Knutson, Stephanie (Mitchell) Knutson, Alex Cunningham, Sheena Ayers, B.J. (Maryann) Ayers, J.J. Ayers, Kandy Ayers; thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and very special friends, Donna Ayers, Trudy Rolen, Billy and Brenda Montgomery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, at Robinette Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The funeral service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 24, in the Red Hill Cemetery in Harrogate, TN. Those who would like to travel in procession are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Mikey, Rickey, Allen, Alex, Jonathan, Jimmy and B.J. Honorary pallbearers will be Big Teddy, Little Teddy and Brandon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to help with funeral expenses
