DeWayne Bryan, age 48 of Garvin, OK gained his wings on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Tulsa, OK. He was born on June 22, 1973 in Texarkana, TX, the son of John A Bryan Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Bell Bryan. DeWayne married his wife, Kimberly on March 25, 2002.
DeWayne worked at Bailey Lumber Company for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. DeWayne also played a pretty good game of moon. He had a big heart and could always be found helping someone in need. DeWayne was very proud of his family and loved spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren. He was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
DeWayne is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Bryan of the home; son, Matt Bryan and Carissa of Idabel, OK; daughters, Courtney Nix and Jessie Johnson and Brianna Nix and Cody Anderson all of the Hollycreek Community, OK; a brother, John Bryan Jr. and Kathy of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Miracle Nix, Matthew Johnson, Alaska Johnson and Max Bryan; his cat, Dorito; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Green Chapel Assembly of God Church in Herndon Community, OK with Bro. Lynn Gaskey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the funeral home.
