On August 21, 1956, she was united in marriage to Manford Hall in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1967, Joyce and Manford moved to Lawrence, Kansas where they lived for three years before moving to Baldwin City, Kansas in 1970.
Joyce worked for Baker University as a cook for over twenty years before retiring in 1992 for health reasons.
Joyce enjoyed spending time reading books on a wide variety of subjects. She also enjoyed animals and throughout the years has had numerous cats and dogs as pets. Joyce's favorite pastime was spending quality time with her family and friends.
She was survived by her husband, Manford, three daughters, one son, two grandsons, one great-grandson, three sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will remain in the hearts and thoughts of her family and friends forever.
