Bob was born on August 6, 1935 in Manitowoc to the late Andrew and Ella (Pozorski) Cichantek. He enlisted in the United States Army and served his country overseas in Germany until his honorable discharge. On October 1, 1960, Bob married Helen Theodoru at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Bob worked at Manitowoc Engineering for 33 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of Silver Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Serra Club of Manitowoc County, Knights of Columbus Council 710, Manitowoc Fish and Game, YMCA, Round-Ups Square Dance Club, and was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts. Bob was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where he served as Eucharistic minister and funeral server. One of Bob's greatest joys was travelling with Helen.
