Obituary
Laura Claywell was born in Winchester, Ill.. April 16, 1860, and passed away in St. Louis, Mo., December 31, 1945. She was a resident of Versailles from 1895 with the exception of the last three years of her life, where she had lived in St. Louis.
She is survived by a son, Charles H. Claywell and wife, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The body was brought to the Tarrant Funeral Home where funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stanley Wilson officiating. Mrs. C. L. Reische sang the hymns accompanied by Mrs. Clarke Mitchell. Pallbearers were: Roy Stone, Harold Kauffman, Gerald Woods, Randall Stone, Wm. Pool and Charles Pool. Burial was made in Versailles cemetery.
