Born October 29, 1946 in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Judson Kreger, Jr. and Helen Frances Tressler Kreger.
Karen was Baptist by faith, a graduate of Monessen High School, class of 1964, graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and earned her anesthesia BS at LaRoche College. She loved her pets, especially her dog Kaia, enjoyed gardening, traveling, boating and was very talented in needle point.
She is survived by her lifelong companion, Richard Pukal of North Huntingdon; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Linda Kreger of Monessen and nephew, Brian Kreger of Dublin, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon with Pastor Sam Batton of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon officiating.
Private interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
