Two Rivers, Wisconsin - Judith L. Meneau, age 95, a Two Rivers resident, died on September 28, 2021 at Harborview Assisted Living, Manitowoc.
Judy was born on September 15, 1926 in Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late George and Hattie (Anderson) Larson.
She was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School with the class of 1945. Judy played the saxophone in the high school band and was a poly wog swimmer as well.
On December 26, 1945 she married Donald Meneau at the St. Marks Catholic Church Parish House in Two Rivers.
He preceded her in death on August 4, 2016.
Judy worked part time at Paragon, Aluminum Goods and the local grocery store. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, knitting and crocheting. Judy belonged to two card clubs and loved playing bridge. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society. Judy was also a cup bearer and did collection for St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Above all else she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Lisa Meneau, Lake Ann, MI; three grandchildren: Heather Meneau, Phoenix, AZ, Lindsey Meneau, Traverse City, MI, Hatte Meneau, Chicago, IL; one aunt Ceil (Meneau) Tome, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Marlene Meneau, Manitowoc; Peg Meneau, Lake Hilbert, WI. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald, sister Arlene (Meneau) Kempton, three brothers LeRoy, Clarence and Richard Meneau, one brother-in-law: Robert Kempton; and her close camping friends: Bob and Elaine Schroeder.
Private Family Funeral Services were held at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers.
Entombment took place at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth, next to her husband.
