He was born in Milwaukee on April 21, 1931 the son of John and Louise (nee Luetzow) Beck. Richard graduated in 1949 from Messmer High School. He worked for Kearney & Trecker as a supervisor until his retirement in 1993. In his retirement, he enjoyed camping in his trailer in Rio, WI and collecting beer steins. He attended and was a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Richard will be deeply missed by his life partner Carol Dahms of Muskego, his children David (Judi) of Pardeeville, Daniel (Cindy) of Arizona, Robert (Sonia) of Waukesha, Ronald (Lori) Beck of Mukwonago, and Lori (Rick Stewart) Schneider of Janesville. He is further survived by his brother John Beck of Campbellsport and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Anne Piekarski.
