She was born in New Philadelphia on March 6, 1938 to the late Oliver Zadra and the late Hazel Metzger-Zadra Gibson. She graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1956. She was a bookkeeper, loved playing her accordion and listening to music. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening and working in her flower beds.
Martha retired from the Eastern Credit Union and attended the Dover Alliance Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Brad (Victoria) Buss of Dover, and her loving and caring daughter Cindy (Robert) Picklesimer, four grandchildren; Kyle (Brittany) Picklesimer, Tyler Picklesimer, Maria and David Buss; and a great- granddaughter Hailey Joy Picklesimer; and a half-brother John Gibson, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son Mark Allen Buss, granddaughter Sarah Buss and great-grandson Isaiah Picklesimer.
In honoring Martha's wishes, cremation will take place and no services are scheduled at this time. Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek is handling arrangements. Those wishing to do so, may send the family a personal condolence or share a memory by visiting the funeral home website.
