As an infant, her family moved to Yakima where she spent her childhood. She graduated from Yakima High School in 1945. After graduation, she moved to Clarkston. She attended Lewiston Business School where she was certified as a secretary.
Soon after she met her husband, James "Jim" E. Fuller. They were married June 26, 1949, in an intimate wedding in her parents' backyard. In the 1950s she brought four children into the world and became very busy in the PTA, 4-H, and was even a Cub Scout leader.
She started working at the First Presbyterian Church in 1960. Then in 1965, she began working at Morgan Brothers and then went back to the church in 1970 as secretary. In 1975 she found her dream job reupholstering furniture. Her life was full of hustle and bustle with work, family and friends. In 1996 her husband Jim passed away; a few years later she retired from her business. She spent the rest of her life raising grandchildren and even saw a few great-grandchildren enter the world.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Fred; and sisters Dorothy, Mildred, Geneva, and Margie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 18 at the Clarkston First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are with Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home in Lewiston.
